Little Trip to Mt. St. Helens

Figured it was probably one of the last days before the snow sets in and the road closes for the winter. Well made it up most of the way and they were closing it down. Oh well still a nice day to try out the new paddle shifters and new Conti's

My wonderful daughter

Yeah I wish I would've taken a trip up a little sooner in the summer you can get all the way up to Windy Ridge which is just 15 miles or so from the volcano.

Great pics! What beautiful scenery. Being the only car in that mountain-top parking lot, with Saint Helens in the background... amazing.

Oh, and your dashboard is filthy.

Great photos. Thank you for sharing! These type of adventures are always fun to experience. I hiked to the MSH dome once with my mom. This made me miss her even more. I love reflecting on the past and the actions today that create tomorrow's nostalgia. But please don't tell crookncastle.
