Magnatec oil????

Anybody tried the new castrol gtx magnatec? It looks like they sell it in 5w20 full synthetic and 5w30 synthetic blend. (could be alot more types)

I really wanted a full synthetic in 5w30. I have seen may threads about the different types of opinions of different people but not hardly anything with magnatec.

Is 5w20 full synthetic a bad idea/heavy enough? Or should I stick with full synthetic the brand x in 5w30?

Also something I haven't seen much about is the best oil filters.....Please chime in!

Wouldn't know much about Magnatec oil (I use Mobil 1 Full Synthetic EP)

But for filters, I went with a Mobil M1-108 filter.

For filters I've used Mobil 1, Bosch, and Wix, all seem to do a good job. I use the larger Infiniti/Nissan V8 filters, the OEM G filter is just a bit bigger than a thimble.
