The Y-Pipes on these cars are not a bottleneck, so you should be happy with the Y-back exhausts from the two vendors noted earlier.
Well the J2 system is a cat back, it replaces the OEM Y w/ a Y shaped pipe but it remains split w/ a cross pipe at the end and it keeps dual pipes throughout. But it DOES appear to take up the same footprint as the OEM Y pipe so it should work fine for X model sedans too.

**** that really does look horrible. I'll make sure to get the beveled edge tips.

The ones you have look really thin and cheap.

I really dislike how giant they are. I would prefer 3.5" tips instead of 4" but it seems like every exhaust system for our G37 sedan are all 4" tips

Try the J2 set, someone needs to be the first, and it HAS the 3.5" beveled tips

I might have to go with virtue since its tax free assuming they aren't in Texas. I live 45 minutes from Top Speed so although they offer free pickup and shipping ill still have to pay almost $50 for tax

About $100 in savings buying from virtue
I'm in texas and still required to pay taxes for the purchase through virtue motorsports. I don't understand

Virtue has a location in Dallas. They are required to charge sales tax to buyers in any state where they have a brick and mortar location.

Not sure if I'm missing something, but I got this same exhaust (minus the midpipe cross brace) on eBay for $350 a couple of months ago lol. It has the beveled tips as well. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's 2.25" throughout, even before it splits at the Y section into the two mufflers. Since many aftermarket Y pipes have a 3" collector (like mine), I think a 3" mid pipe that splits into two 2.5" pipes/mufflers would be ideal for power but may increase drone. I'm considering having a custom midpipe made to test this theory out.

Here are some pics of the exhaust. Fitment was surprisingly good. I have some videos I can post as well if anyone is interested

Looks good Bandit, the only noticeable difference is the Top Speed has the cross support on the mids. Can't beat $350

$350 is cheaper than a couple of high quality replacement mufflers.

I agree, that in my opinion does look good hung under the car.

I thought I had read some other reviews of the Manzo exhaust which stated horrible fitment. Perhaps this new version has updates and is improved.

I think there is a scathing review that appears as one of the top links in Google if you search on "Manzo exhaust G37 sedan". Everyone seems to reference it, but there are many other reviews where the users were happy with the purchase.

Thanks, I was pleasantly surprised after installing it.

The version with fitment and quality issues is the slip connector style shown in this video. I haven't even come across a listing for this type on eBay so I think it has been phased out for the 2 bolt flange type that I have

Thanks for all of the valuable feedback BBKBandit. I'm sure that I'd worry too much that the midpipe is 60mm/2.25" from end to end if it matches the diameter at the end of the stock Y-pipe. Were you able to confirm that the stock Y was 2.25 at the end as well.

To be honest, if you told me that you paid $600 for the Manzo system, I'd believe you. The system looks like decent quality from the pics. I do wonder who makes the mufflers for these guys (J2, Manzo, Beluga, TSP, etc.) as they all appear to use the same mufflers.
