sport gearing in x sedan

sport gearing in x sedan
trying hard to see if i can put the quicker steering ratio in my 14 7 1 in my x sedan... ive talked to three different dealerships no one seems to know... is just the rack itself that provides the ratio or the steering shaft.... i would really appreciate some insight on this....
