MD emissions inspection is a joke. If you have a newer car they don't even test actual emissions from the tailpipe, they just make sure you have no CEL. I pass without any cats but if you are worried, HFC will pass actual emission measurement without any problem.

(just think about it not everyone is going to like "your" mods)
A buddy of mine just parted out and he wound up breaking even or making a couple dollars for the most part. Should definitely be easier to sell the car if it's back to OEM or mostly OEM and then sell the mods.

That's my theory anyway. Not that I've saved all my parts...

Thanks for that. I'll keep the OEM stuff even though my kids have their eyes on my G for when I get something else. I can't imagine, at this point, parting with it. Keep it in the family. . So I probably won't return it to OEM. Maybe do a FS here on the OEMs.

This should probably be addressed on another thread in the Exhaust section but here goes anyway:

I see you have a similar car to mine.

How do you like your FI set up. Is it droney on long trips with the 12" resonators? Any emission trouble with the RHFCs? Did you do the install?

Thanks,
Sean

Happy to help Sean. I don't have to go through emissions here in TN; well I did but only once when I bought the car. So no emissions issues on this end.

As far as the drone... A little bit yes it is. I didn't notice it until I drove from TN to KY to VA to PA to NY to TN. After 5 hours I definitely noticed the drone no doubt about that. That said, I'm very happy with the 12" resonators and would go with them again if I was to purchase a system again. I have a guy here I used for the install, he said it was the easiest install he'd ever done at least after he got the OEM exhaust off.

I replaced my OEM springs/struts at 14k. When I get rid of the car ill swap them back on.

Someone will get a like new suspension, I'll flip the Koni's.

Things like my ART pipes, Impul spoiler/grill, and stuff like that should manage to keep some value. But I don't expect too much money out of 40K coilovers or exhaust. Still, I keep all my stock bits around. I feel like in 5 years I can part them out when selling the car.
