The base Q50 isn't anything special but the Q50S Hybrid is absolutely amazing. I had one for about 5 days while they were looking at a crazy leak in my car and I ended up needing to take it on a trip down to Cape Cod in the summer. 360 Horsepower, and I got 31.5mpg thrashing it around and taking it through significant traffic on the way. The electric motor can keep it going forever and up to speeds of 40mph. The craziest part is the car actually drives itself. You can put it in adaptive cruise control and it will stay in the lane, steer, and brake for you.

I would absolutely buy a 2017 Q50S Hybrid in 2019 when I need a new car.
