Newbie Alert 2011 G37x
Sean,
I'd get at least the rear SPC camber kit, you can get by w/ the bolt set (one camber bolt, 1 toe bolt per side)
you'd need two of these kits
SPC Performance Camber/Toe Cam Bolt Kit; Pair, Reqr's 1 per Wheel INFINITI G35
And here's the complete F&R kit showing those rear camber arms that you can use instead of the rear camber bolts (adds about $100 to the price)
Combo Packages 2 Rear Camber Arms w/ Toe Bolts + 2 Front Adjustable A-Arms (Complete set for whole car front and rear) INFINITI G37

Sheesh, the F&R kit is $500.00 bucks! Part #: 72260 + 72130 Unless I'm missing something it's more than a $100 up charge. I might just start with the SPC rear camber bolts. I was hoping to send my kids to college. Not to mention I am getting ready to pull the trigger on wheels and tires. This requires more thought on my part. Maybe they can get scholarships? LOL

I would HIGHLY recommend taking the front struts to a shop with a wall mounted compressor. It cost me $30 to have both done. The Eibachs require a lot of compression and the coils run very close together at the top of the spring. This makes it difficult to get a compressor on and even harder to keep it evenly compressed so that the strut tower bolt will align with top cap.

One other thing: You had mentioned you were waiting on a camber kit. Have you done anything with that yet?
Thanks for watching out for me,
Sean

I am scheduling an alignment for the first of next week. Hoping no camber kit will be required. I will let you know.

I am going with the F&R SPC camber kit to go along with my Eibach springs. It is such a nice set of hardware I couldn't resist. Plus it will allow me many more options in the future. Not cheap...but we're not driving Yugos...
I will be rolling on on 18x8" wheels with 245/45/18 rubber. Both of which I am still choosing. But I do have it narrowed down to 100 wheel options and 27 tire options.
I'm keeping my OEMs for winter.
I welcome all and any wheel and tire suggestions. Bear in mind this is my family daily driver when throwing out ideas. I don't want displace any of my family's internal organs running up to soccer practice.
Thanks again blnewt,
Sean

You will be much happier going with the front and rear camber kits. My car drives so much better after I installed them. I wish I would have done it from the beginning.
I have 19" wheels now and some how my car rides better after adding these and swift spring than with the factory 18s, the oem Dunlops must have been horrible tires. I went with 255/40/19 tires all around. I would look into 19s as well.
When you are looking for parts be sure to check the vendors that support our forum. They can give you quotes on parts and you can find the lowest prices for the parts you need.
Have fun with your family car...

I think I'm going to stick with the 18x8s. There seems to be more choices for that size and the price is a little more gentle. Trying to stick to around 2k for wheels, tires and TPMSs.
Believe me. I'm all about the supporting vendors.
How wide are your wheels, somewhat hard to tell for me by tire size.

Today is a great day for this newbie.
I went to Autozone to get oil for my pending oil change and they had Pennzoil Platinum Synth on sale for $32.99 for a 5 qt. jug. 5W-30 as that is what is called for.
But that's not all folks...it came with a free Bosch oil filter. 3300 since that, also, is what's called for. Boy is that thing small. I though it would look like a grain silo in Iowa.
But wait...I also get a mail-in coupon for a $15 gift card.
Now as soon as I get my floor Jack and stands from HT. I'll be happening.
All of this is thanks to the support I get from this forum.
Thanks,
Sean

Nice find! I normally hit up walmart because they have a 5qt jug of mobile 1 for about 28$ give or take a buck or two depends on where you live. Sometimes I see it go as low as 22$ and thats when I stock up. I may also be hitting up autozone to see if the deal is still on. Thanks for the tip!

I'm hoping my card gets here before the 27th. Then I will use it for another set-up.
Glad I could turn you onto it.
