I love the way my interior looks now with the black matts and stone interior. What do y'all think?

 

It's a very personal preference. I prefer darker (not necessarily black) interiors as they tend to appear clean even if dirty.

If you like it, that's all that truly matters

 

yeah i used to have black in my last car but seats were so hot when i'd get in. And yeah I'm def a nerd about keeping my car clean.

 

Same here, Lance. I use the OEM black rubber winter mats all year round in my Stone Leather interior. I just think it looks better having a dark foot-well.

 

Have black mats with my wheat interior, IMO much easier to keep clean and not show the dirt, my carpets are like new for a 2011.https://www.myg37.com/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif

 

How come the seat doesn't have the Infiniti logo on it?

 

Lance's car is a 2015 Q40.

Seems manufacturing costs were reduced by simply bypassing the stitching, rather than retooling. It's an understandable decision, considering the haphazard way Infiniti is giving the model a slow death. But it's a cheap one, too.

Good eyes. I was wondering something didn't look right in the picture of the seat, but not sure what it was. Anything else Infiniti cheaped out on the Q40? Like a steel hood other than an aluminum one?

 

I have black OEM floor mats in my car with stone interior as well. I chose black because I like the contrast in color. too much dark or light in an interior gets boring IMO. I like a dynamic contrast like black/white for example.

 

Looks good, think I'll do the same, just with the rubber/all-season mats.

Where's the best deal for them nowadays? Ebay is about $100, is this the lowest out there?

 

Nope but i did get the illuminated kick plate lights which was nice.
