It's a very personal preference. I prefer darker (not necessarily black) interiors as they tend to appear clean even if dirty.

yeah i used to have black in my last car but seats were so hot when i'd get in. And yeah I'm def a nerd about keeping my car clean.
Have black mats with my wheat interior, IMO much easier to keep clean and not show the dirt, my carpets are like new for a 2011.https://www.myg37.com/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif

Seems manufacturing costs were reduced by simply bypassing the stitching, rather than retooling. It's an understandable decision, considering the haphazard way Infiniti is giving the model a slow death. But it's a cheap one, too.

I have black OEM floor mats in my car with stone interior as well. I chose black because I like the contrast in color. too much dark or light in an interior gets boring IMO. I like a dynamic contrast like black/white for example.
