Need your opinion on this trade in! 2012 G37xS limited Edition

Hi guys, I need you guys opinions on this :

I have 2011 G37x sedan non-sport 56k mileage. I bought this car for 22k. This is CPO vehicle wish extended warranty til 2019. Current trade in value is 17800

However this is car I want to trade in my car for:

2012 OB G37xS limited edition 63k mileage. Price tag 22,900.
What I like about this car:

1) The look of the S.. with 19(I think.. maybe 18) and all those lips w/ S bumper.. very sweet

2) Navigation and Bluetooth music streaming : My 11 g37x does not have navigation.. and only phone works with bluetooth. Gotta connect USB everytime I drive my car.. Kinda annoying.

3) Its RARe!@

I already purchased R2C intakes and swift springs. It is not yet installed.. I'm thinking get S before mod up my car and regret.

What do you guys think? Do you think that G37sx limited edition is worth 22k? basically trading in 6months old (car hasn't paid full yet but 1.9% APR) 17.8K trade-in value to 22k new finance (probably wont get 1.9)..

Tell me if its worth it !

Seems like a pretty good deal on the G37xS. Mine is fully loaded and looks nicer than the non sport model. If appearance and options matter to you then go for it.

I'm guessing you live in a place that requires awd, but just so you know the RWD Sport package is a true Sport performance option whereas the AWD sport package is purely only for looks and offers 0 performance difference compared to G37S RWD

I have a 2012 G37xS and absolutely LOVE it...the aero package looks awesome and we have the factory "S" rear spoiler and the real wood interior trim throughout the car. Not a single option left unchecked on this car. Stickers at just over $49K...bought it CPO about a year and a half ago with 12K on it. Not a single issue with this car and a blast to drive! Mine is fire engine RED.

well op I dont see the value in trading in your current car for another awd that just has the sport bumper....hell if it means that much....then just do the sport bumper conversion! your getting absolutely no upgrade in performance or suspension so whats the point? You already mentioned your finaced at 1.9% and doubt you'll get that again, you already have an extended warranty and you have less milage....to me its a no brainer.

If your going for purly looks...which the xS is.....then I say keep what you have....invest the money in a front sport bumper conversion. All models use the same rear spoiler. Oh and the sport comes with 18" factory rims....just buy aftermarket and it will look 100's better than OEM.

One last thing....you say your trade in value is $17,8 but what do you still owe on the car. I sure as hell would not be upside down for another G and esp one thats the 7at xs edition!

Yea.. Looks are one of the option that I like. I really like the bluetooth music streaming + navigation.

I understand. That is why I need opinion. If it had lower mileage and stuff, I wouldn't have hard time deciding. However I do know that performance wise I get nothing but AWD (which I already have) but I do get better technology such as navigation/bluetooth and plus the looks. Is it worth 4k Investment ?

Opinion #7: In every way that matters, the cars are identical. So, no, it isn't worth it.

However, good price. But unacceptably high mileage for a 2012.

Better the Devil that you know...

Navigation would be nice when My phone doesnt have much battery. Also bluetooth audio stream is AWESOme.. but then it is not worth so much money..I guess

If you intend to go modify the car for apeedspeed I would stay away from any X model. Without being able to change the gear ratio you will always be a step slower & heavier no matter how you cut it.

o_O

I thought G37x is faster than G37 due to better grip.

Even though non AWD is lighter than x, its still slower....thats what I learned from this forum!

I have Nav on my 12xs coupe and tried it once and never tried it again just use the nav app on my iPhone. I never bothered trying the bluetooth streaming either just plug it into usb cable since it charges as I drive anyway. I also agree you should just get mods with the money you save. I do love the reverse cam though but I think non-nav's also have that just a smaller screen.
