Help with my 2010 37!!
Hey guys, I have a 2010 infiniti g37 sedan with around 105k miles. I wanted to ask all of you guys if I should buy and replace specific new parts of my car in order to allow it to be of the best quality and hopefully make it to 200k miles. For example, should I get some new exhausts because my old ones are beat up in order to allow better air flow etc? Im completely new to this forum and cars in general so please excuse my ignorance thanks in advanced guys.
The G is fairly low maintenance. Just keep up with fluid changes and you should be fine
. If you don't know much about cars or the service history of your car then I really suggest you take it to a dealership or an independent shop and have them check out to make sure everything is good.
At your mileage, I would check the following (no particular order)...
Brake fluid
Differential oil
Transmission oil
Coolant / Radiator hoses
Belt
Steering fluid
Spark plugs
Battery
Brake pads

Yep, what he said^^^
As far as exhaust, wouldn't hurt to look at an upgrade, might even find a slightly used setup in our classifieds.
Might also look into new shocks, the Koni Yellows would be a great upgrade as your stock shocks should be getting tired.

If you're not interested in sound or performance, then only replace exhaust components when necessary. There's no value (to you) in proactively replacing your exhaust just because it's old.
Gear oil, coolant fluid, belts, etc... check your owner's manual for recommended periods and get current with them.
You're not going to mod your car, you just want to drive it forever. That's fine. Like any car, all you have to do is be responsible with maintenance. It's only a 5 year old G37 with 100K... that likely means lots of highway miles @20K/year. I suspect you're worrying about nothing.
