Hey All - had to upgrade my sons car and rather than take a chance with a used car I gave him mine. No totally benovalent on my part as that meant I needed a car.
I've been trolling the SS for a year and a half and wanted one as a G8.
cheers to all and thanks for all the help.

Nice. That car is on my list as well. I used to own a gto which has a similar platform. When I get the g paid for, I'll be in the market for one. Keep us updated on the performance and mods. Congrats on the purchase!
Nice find! The SS has been out a little while now and I've only seen two rolling down the road. Pretty rare around the roads I've been driving, nice sleeper too, much like the other Aussie V8-GM setups. Congrats!
The poster child for Sleeper Cars. Well done. Too bland for my taste, but you can't argue with the recipe, particularly if you got the 6MT. Also, an uncommon and likely rare car, all things considered.
What do you mean by you had to upgrade your son's car?

It will look very different once I rebadge it as a Holden Commodore SSV, which is what it is in Australia. Thanks all. There only about 6000 of them in the US. Think different...
I really liked the Mustang. Fully equipped it hit the mid-$40's but no sunroof option was a non-starter for me. with no rear windows that open and no sunroof i couldn't do it.
Oh the SS only comes with three options besides the color, a full matching spare, a sunroof and 6MT vs. Auto. All other electronics from NAV to forward lane warning and blindspot, HUD, WIFI, etc, all come standard. its is not over $50K - they sticker for $48940 - i paid much less than that with my discount.
