High Mileage Question
High Mileage Question
Hey everyone, Im new to the forums and had a few questions in regards to my infiniti g37. I've got a 2010 infiniti g37 sedan passed down to me from my old brother. He has maintained it well, regular maintenance, and no major accidents. The car has around 105k miles and I was planning on to vinyl wrap the car and was wondering if it would be worth it. How long do you think the engine will last if I take extremely good care of it? Also if any of you had vinyl wraps done within the NY area, how much was it? Thanks in advance guys!
I've got 97k on my '09 and I plan on putting at least another 150k on it before I'm done with payments. No reason why you can't get 200k+ out of just about any car nowadays as long as you take care of it.
Welcome to the site, like Flakman said, you should get at least 200k w/ good servicing.
If you have the Auto transmission I'd look into getting the fluid changed if it's never been done, as well as your differential, coolant, and brake fluid changed out if they haven't been done in a while.

Don't waste money on anything that isn't needed. It is not only the engine you need to worry about. On my previous 06 G35, it was going to need another set of brakes at 172k miles, plus a drivers side headlight ballast, and had a leaking differential seal.
I decided to trade it in for my 2012
You can get 200k miles or even 300k miles if you keep pouring money into an older vehicle.
My brand new 2012 G37S came with all new parts and a warranty
Very happy

To me, the Infinitis are pretty indestructible if taken care of... the engine has been in production for a very long time and has a good track record.
Most of the time cars "break" because their owners are too lazy and cheap to spend money on this other than oil changes.
