Shifter boot replacement
Wrap your fingers into the boot at the trim edge next to the heated seat dials, and pull it upward; it will unclip with a little bit of force. Of course, then you have to unscrew the shift ****... which is usually something that destroys the ****.
So I should just leave it as is. Why does it destroy the ****.
First lift the boot off as Rochester stated. Follow steps 1 and 2 below.
