I'm not ashamed of my badges. I keep all of them. Plastidipped them black on the back so they stand out more.

Noooo, Why would you put plasti dip on a $30,000 car. Just Paint them

The trunk just looks to crowded. That's the reason i removed the letters. Plus it looks better, at least i think.

Paint my emblems? No way in hell am I going to mask that to the degree needed for paint. Nope, not for me.

I would LOVE to have painted emblems, but that's not something I have the patience to pull off. And I'm not paying anyone to do it either. Taking them off, painting them, and re-applying seems like a bad idea to me. Buying a new set, painting them and then applying them seems better, but if there's any faded paint going on, I'd be too **** to make sure the new letters lined up perfectly.

No sir...Plastidip it is...

(for now)

That's actually one of the best applications (IMO) for plastidip, it looks just fine for small pieces like lettering, it's when you dip large pieces like wheels & grills where the rough rubbery texture dominates and then detracts & cheapens, rather than enhances the look. IMO the look of those dipped letters/emblem definitely enhances, Nice job!

I'd be less concerned with people thinking you have a G35 than with people thinking you have a completely base model G37.

Get rid of the badge and lower the Fuji. It's unbalanced now.
