Can i remove the Infiniti lettering off my trunk?

I was wondering if the Infiniti lettering on the back of the g37's have holes behind them? or is it just glued on.

No holes, search for "Debadging." Many have done it. It's basically just a matter of heating the area to soften the adhesive (hair dryer would be fine), and removing the badges with some fishing line or another form of thin wire. Afterwards, clean the glue with goo gone or a similar non abrasive agent, then wash/wax the trunk.

Edit: here's one example of a debadged coupe trunk. Came out pretty nice.

I used a heat gun on the low setting. After all the glue is removed using the heat gun, use a bug & tar remover to clean things up.

If your car has been in the sun a majority of the time you may get some ghosting in the clear coat. Once you remove the letters like mentioned above you may have to use some mild compound like macquiars "Ultimate Compound" in the lettered area followed up w/ a finish polish/wax. The darker colors that have been sun beaten are more prone to this.

But in the end I say "do it", much easier to detail and it cleans up the back end IMO.

Sure can, aside from the 'cleanliness' of the debadge, I also felt the letters were redundant as the Fuji emblem suffices (not many other cars out there have the automakers logo AND name on the back, for good reason IMO)

^^^

You both could benefit from lowing the Fuji an inch or two. Looks really awkward so high on the trunk without the letters.

vvv

Ehh, I kinda like it. The top lines up well with the G37.

And honestly it looks better in person.

^agreed, Fuji location looks fine as-is, moving down would look odd.

Nice job OP!

Looks good Lance
I was thinking of lowering my emblem but I had some rather deep scratches right on one of the inside edges of Mt Fuji and when lowered they'd be exposed
I like it where it is though, I also like the look of JUST the logo since it just keeps the back simple and symmetric (and you don't have the G37 lettering to get the wax out of)

You'll go by them so quick they won't be able to read those little letters, lol.
