Exhaust
Thanks blnewt.
Are the tips shown in the pics provided in the eBay listing the beveled ones?

Also, any thoughts on the comments they inserted related to the installation? Why would this setup be any more difficult to install compared to the others:
example:
You tighten the nuts&bolts on the exhaust on one side and move on to the other side the exhaust on left and right will not line up evenly and will be off in position.
Please tighten the nuts&bolts in rotation, right -> left -> right -> left and adjust the position of exhaust & exhaust hangers before tighten both side exhaust nuts&bolts.
For best results have a helper to stand behind the rear of your car to visually direct you to perfect installation.

As far as those install instructions, it's just a general guideline, mine bolted right up without any adjustment neccessary.
Exhaust tips can always be cut off, and new ones welded on by a shop with decent welding skills. The added benefit of this approach is perfect fitment. In other words, don't get too hung up on tips.
No pun intended.
No pun intended.
Correct. But it is an extra cost.
I think the tips on the majority of the aftermarket G exhausts are too big and gawdy.
at all the tacky. After I order a cat-back over the coming winter, Step 2 will be to order tip replacements. Still loving those OEM-ish RedTail tips, but I need to take measurements first of the new cat-back after it's here in hands. And truth be told, I'm waffling on the ARK Grip, because I know first hand from a number of cars and members that the FI cat-back is perfect fitment and build quality.

10-4 on that, brother. Makes me

Gaudy? Nah, more like awesome since it makes the car look more masculine because in stock form it's kind of feminine.
Can anyone comment on the Invidia vs the TopSpeed exhaust? Those are the two that I am really considering. If I do go with the TopSpeed, is the Y pipe worth changing? Do the aftermarket ones make that big of a difference over stock?

I got my Invidia for $800 shipped. It is a great exhaust for the price.
Can anyone comment on a muffler delete? I have seen that some members of this forum have gone that route and was wondering about the downside, if any. Will it have any ill effects on the car? I have to admit it sounds pretty sweet... Is the stock muffler set up a major bottleneck in the system? Would there be any gains from a mod like this?
