Not feeling the theme you are going for (fast and furious much?) but I bet it would look a million times better if you got rid of those wheels.

You shoud ditch this and start a build thread. Is that dip on the trim? That doesn't look good, man. Painted/wrapped trim looks better in gloss, to match the B-pillar. And what is that... purple CF wrap? Or is it the lighting? Either way, it clashes big time, IMO.

Welcome to the forum, Frenta.

When I bought the car last year it already had the chameleon cf interior and everything was plasti dipped, I added the chameleon paint to the grill and wheels to try and tie it together. This winter I plan on making alot of changes, and buying some wheels. Last week I lowered it with Megan springs and my intake is currently on the way!

sorry but why wait? i know everyone has their own likes/dislikes....but in no way do I see this ever looking good or "tieing together" as you state. This is not a raggedy civic/integra. Just wash your car in googone and let it soak a good 15 mins to help break down the dip....or if the previous owner put it on thick it should peel off very easily. you could literally vinyl wrap most of your car for as much as u spent on dip...maybe even less....

I work with the guy I bought it from and I kinda was just going with his theme type deal, I've went back and forth between liking it and not liking it and he got salty when I talked about doing something different, I was really busy last year and just went with it, I'm now close to having it all paid off, and decided to re do it all this winter while it sits, you can tell the grill is super thick with dip but the rims are thin in alot of spots, I did the chameleon paint to try and match the interior he had spent alot of time on but now it's time to do somthing different like I said I've just been dreading peeling all the dip off, are you serious about the goo be gone that really works? I want to class this G up a bit even if I have to work with a salty coworker

yes googone goofoff etc all works the same. Just make sure and let it soak in for a good 10-15 mins...then you should be able to leterally wipe it off, not peel. I would recommend using some shop rags or cheap microfiber towels to wipe off as youll want to just throw them away when done. no point in risking to wash that out.

You might get lucky and the dip will peel off easily. As far as affecting the trim, should be OK under the dip if the trim wasn't sanded prior to dipping.
Give my DIY a shot if you want to black out the trim, it's easy and will match the center pillars on your door perfectly. https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...-g-sedans.html
Once you get some time w/ the vinyl you can also wrap your grill
https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...ing-grill.html

You'll get it looking proper, just step back a bit and think the mods through, don't just try for a big transformation all at once and I think you'll be a happy camper.
Oh, and welcome to the site!
