Did you paint the battery and brake fluid covers in your engine bay to match the silver of your G?
Yes he sure did! Evan met me at my house and helped with the headlight removal. It was good meeting him! As far as the fluid covers, I vinyl wrapped them with arlon silver metallic.

Yeah I will probably buy it in the near future. I've had a number of cold air intakes and even a ram air once on a turbo GTI I had with no issues but better to be safe than sorry. For the time being im not too worried about it.

You guys with silver g's make me regretful of my color choice (also had a coupe years back that was silver). Sadly though, when I was in the market for my current black one only 2 manual equipped g sedans popped up (in 2 months.....) and neither of them were silver.

FINALLY dropped off some sport coupe 19s to be refinished.

While there, I was advised to try the "Velgen" gunmetal color, which seems pretty appealing to me, should find out in a week or so!

The fact you have manual already makes your car better and then black on top of it..... anytime you want to trade just let me know lol. I've never owned an automatic car nor anything but black. To say I'm jealous is an understatement

I put the midnight grille on this weekend. I was surprised at how beautiful this paint really is up close. I didn't expect the depth of sparkle.

Ah, you didn't realize it was metallic black, did you?

Looking good. Nice wax job.

Angry Today I will get a new rear tail light

Some inconsiderate a-hole broke my tail light sometime between last night and this morning when I noticed it after I went out for breakfast.

A quick google search shows about 200ish for new replacement. Need to see if my insurance will pay and if my rate will go up. I have a 500 deductable so may not be worth it anyway.

Hopefully I will post something other than cursed behind my car for what I do next.

It's definitely not worth it to go through insurance if the deductible is higher than the cost of the part! Plus, better to stay claim free and rates low until you really need it.

Additionally they will note the car has been in an accident wether you collect from the insurance company or not. That will show up on Carfax and other websites. Dont call unless you have no other choice.

I'd call it vandalism rather than an accident...not sure if this would make a difference in their eyes.

Think I'll just replace it myself. The weather has been mild sso far this winter. shouldn't be much of a problem.

For Christmas, my car got a Britax convertible car seat. I know, not that exciting

Car seat fitment on this car sucks. While Infiniti has the 'Snug Kids' compatibility guide, it's really out of date to what is available. We got booster seats for my wife's MDX and it fit fine, but it didn't fit in the G. So my wife, and the floater car seat (grand parents) get EvenFlo booster seats, I add a second Britax convertible to the back seat of my car.

Who says you have to drive a minivan or "practical" car just because you're almost 40 and married with children

And yeah, that green box on the back of the passenger seat are baby wipes. I have diapers in my trunk
