Looking good man, love the design, wish they made one for the m37

Midnight Grille is on the way. I finally caved in when the eBay seller relisted the item at $199 again for 30 days. I thought after only selling 4 the previous month, they may lower the price to help them move, but nope.

They are the lowest price on eBay by $100 for the Sedan version...so why I expected them to lower the price is beyond me...I have a fairly firm grasp of free-market capitalism.

So now that I've bought mine, you guys watch closely. The price should drop tomorrow

I will still do this mod, but the "urgency" has subsided.

Also, were you 1 screw short on reassembly? I've read that one of the new trim pieces will require an additional screw when you reuse your screws. Many say to leave it off, but I am particular, and would need all the screws mounted.
I ended up buying new hardware even before my paddles arrived - I wanted to make sure I had EVERYTHING before I started removing panels and making the swap. I picked up some hardware from my local hardware store - installation was piece of cake.

I'm in the process of making a grounding kit in hopes that it will help with transmission shifting delay and the other noticeable changes that come along with installing the kit.

I was told it is metal because if plastic, the temperatures coming into the grille in the winter months can make the shield become brittle and crack under low temps.

I'm perfectly fine with the metal shield. It's a great design and helps block most of the debris that would normally make it's way into the filter.

A grounding kit helped me a bit but there's still a lag, more noticeable when using paddles. Hoping a tune cleans it all up.

Today I installed my new Takeda CAI and Motordyne M370 Intake Manifold. Spent the good part of 4-5 hours for everything which is probably longer than most but I spent extra time categorizing all my nuts, bolts and misc connection pieces to make sure I didnt end up with extra parts. Directions for both were very straight forward and I was able to get some extra info off our boards. Very happy with the results. Butt dyno felt great and the sound from the combination is awesome. Very happy with the results.

Nice upgrades, really liking those Takedas, that single centered filter looks SOOO right behind the grill

Very nice, Evan had a clean looking G!

Did you paint the battery and brake fluid covers in your engine bay to match the silver of your G?

Glad to see I wasn't the only one who went with the Takeda and M370. Do you plan on adding the splash guard for the Takeda?

When I get a CAI, it will be the Takeda with the guard. I can't see how water doesn't get in there on a regular basis. I guess you lose some of the "ram-air" qualities with the guard.

I had mine put on because I didn't want to risk it. If I lived in AZ or somewhere where it doesn't really rain often then I would have left it off.
