2011 model vs 2014?

Hey all!

This is my first post in this forum, and I was hoping to get some insight into the G model.

I recently purchased a 2011 g37 sedan (my first big girl purchase, woo!) and I'm pretty confident and content with my purchase. Fully loaded with 35k miles, certified for 26 out the door. I added the wrap warranty on a whim, I'm kind of on the fence on how I feel about that decision...

Is the wrap worth it? I figured since I had the tech package I probably should bc I hear the Bose speakers go out often?

Anyways, I've been trying to find the differences in the year models between the new 2014 and my '11. So far all I've noticed is that the headlights are slightly more grey tinted. Am I missing something? What's changed cosmetic wise? & under the hood?

Thanks in advance for your replies!

Grats! I just bought mine too a month ago, 36k miles 2011, same price

I also bought the extended warranty and imo I think it's worth it, that peace of mind.

Congrats on purchase. I also bought a certified 2011.
Also have the wrap just in case.

As for the model difference, it would be 2013 vs 2011, since 2014 is the Q50.

Engine is the same, even in the newer Q50. A pic of the car would be nice.

That is incorrect, G37 sedan was still offered as a 2014 and will be sold as a Q40 for the 2015 model year. There are no significant changes from 2011 to 2014.

I don't believe there is a 2014 G37. They are still selling it new, but I believe it is only 2013. In 2015 it will be called Q40.

Thanks for the info. I had seen that a 2014 G sedan was going to be offered alongside the Q50, but all I could find is that even though it is still being offered until mid 2015s, I think it is still a "2013".

Not sure about that, but that is all I could find. Can't find a specific new 2014 sedan for sale.
