Got hitched and some new pics

Had a hitch installed with all the wiring. I have to say it looks pretty clean and should carry my bicycle and tow my track bike and trailer just fine. I think next I'll be blacking out the rear valence to hide it some more. All bolt on and minimal fascia trimming required. Also decided to pick up another bike on a whim as well, my 3rd Orange CBR. Good thing I was offered my promotion to management yesterday! Also my Akebono's get installed tomorrow!

Nice on all accounts! Have they improved the RR in the last few years?

I had one when they first came out and hated how they had literally no low end power, and didn't move until 7k+.

I've had two 06's and converted one to a track bike. The 08 is a lot lighter and more nimble and has some great mid range, although low end isn't terrible IMO on any of them, but it is lacking.

I've contemplated doing the same, so I can tow my bike. Who did you have install it? I'm concerned about the irreversible modifications to the bumper and the bumper cover. How much did you pay for the Curt kit? Someone local has one on craigslist and I'm not sure if its a good deal.

I had U-haul install it and the wiring. The hitch was 112 shipped on eBay. You honestly couldn't tell it anything was trimmed up unless you are really looking for it. My installer also didn't drill the holes into the rear bumper and just went in behind it for a cleaner look and wiring is all hidden in the trunk as well.

I imagine they are great for the track, you stay in high R's the whole time anyway. I'm just used to 929's, f4i's etc.. Tons of low end.

Ride safe man and enjoy.

Nice install!!! The hitch blends in nicely and your color hides it well too. How much was install?

I've been considering doing this on my G for another kind of bike- my tri bike. I ended up getting a fancy schmancey Seasucker bike rack that goes right on the car.

The install was 115 bucks at Uhaul including the wiring kit and all labor. They actually messed up on the price quote but the manager honored it without me even having to say anything, overall great people to deal with. I got a pro rack that can carry two bikes. Should only be carrying mine and my lady friends bike anyway.

This is my Specialized crosstrail disc.

I thought from the title this would be you and your new bride all decked out w/ your G
At any rate, looking good, and nice bike. Did you paint your Akebonos?
Nice upgrades you've been up to
