Mod suggestions?

New to the forums, but I've owed my '09 G37S, 6 speed manual sedan for a few years now. I've put cat-back Fast Intentions pipes on it and it sounds great!

I'm looking to make a few more mods to it and am looking for suggestions. My budget isn't huge. I definitely want to get it tuned after it's all said and done, whether that be with a tuner like Bully Dog or Diablo Sport or by getting it custom tuned.

Debating now what is going to make the biggest difference in sound and power...intakes, straight pipes, probably can't afford headers at the moment. I'm an investment real estate broker and don't want the car to be obnoxious.

Any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated!

Swaybars. Doesn't matter the brand.

You've already chased down a reasonable power mod, and a nice exhaust tone. Go for an inexpensive, bolt-on suspension mod this time around. There's nothing like the feel of pushing a performance(ish) car hard out of a ramp, and sways will keep you even that more planted.

straight pipes makes the best gains.

for almost no difference in sound, Fast Intentions Resonated High Flow Cats are best, but one of the most expensive.

If too costly, then get the resonated test pipes, but they will be louder.

Rochester's suggestion is also great, but from your post Im guessing you are looking for more power instead of handling.

I would say sways or FI RHFCs. Those two mods made the biggest difference to the overall performance of my car in my opinion.

Nice journey coupe rims, I'm running the same on my car anyway, for some power gains and not being obnoxious, go get some stillen Gen 3 intakes. They are only obnoxious when you want them to be

Sway Bars + summer tires (if you aren't already running them)

Thanks for the input guys. At this point I'm leaning toward sway bars and Stillen intakes. Seems like that will improve the handling and power quite a bit.

What are your opinions on tuners...Bully Dog and Diablo Sport types vs. custom? Also, would the car need to be tuned after installing intakes or is it something that can wait...

Paratrooper, I literally just ordered the vinyl to black out the chrome door trim yesterday! Also going to clear plastidip the lettering on the back to get rid of the chrome and give it more of a brushed aluminum look. Will post pics when I'm done with it!

For tuner im pretty sure everyone can agree on going with Osiris or Ecutek. Dont tune if you are not finish modding or it will be money wasted.

I wouldn't tune it until you're done modding. I'm on the fence about the M370 and a stillen or Takeda intake or I would have tuned by now. My current plan is ECUtek.
