Does this look right?

I noticed the rear skid plate (if that's the correct name for that part) comes out and the rear bumper is tucked underneath it. Is this how it's supposed to be or does it go inside the bumper area? I bought my G a week and a half ago and it was like that. It seems off to me. I tried searching members rear pics To see if I can sneak a peek under but couldn't find n e that had detail. My OCD is telling me it's wrong and to fix it lol

The black plastic "skid plate" should be tucked under the white bumper edge. Yours is the opposite. Any indication that the bumper was removed and replaced?

While fixing that, take note this is where your EVAP charcoal canister resides, behind that panel.

I knew it lol funny thing is I asked the sales rep (non infiniti Dealer but still known dealership) that if that's how it was supposed to be n he said yes..smh.. time to do the first "mod" yay lol well 2nd mod to be exact. First one was I bought n installed (all by myself lol) those round blind spot mirrors, oh yeah ! Got used to the blind spot detection system on my previous car with the lights n chimes that I thought there was no car next to me while I switched lanes since I had no light on my side mirror . Then I realized I wasn't in my other car no more and turns out there was a car next to me haha

Nice, this same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. I was walking up to my car and noticed it, it really threw me off. I tucked it in and it looks much better.

It can almost be guaranteed that the rear bumper was resprayed and the parts were put back together in the wrong order. Not a biggie.
