Infiniti and Lexus offer the best factory warranty of any luxury brand for sure, both are similar.

Nah, Lexus is only 4 years/50k miles, same with Acura and all the other German luxury car manufacturers. I own two Lexus vehicles and I noticed their warranty is worse than Infiniti's.

Infiniti is the only luxury brand that gives you full bumper to bumper 4 years 60k miles, 10k miles more than any other luxury manufacturer, I believe. I didn't count Tesla or the more "exotic" luxury brands.

Hyundai has the best warranty (5 year 60k miles bumper to bumper,) but I don't consider it a luxury brand.

You are right on the bumper to bumper but I meant power train wise they both offer 6/70k. Either way better than 4/50k for both on Audi and BMW and Benz.

I have a situation regarding extended warranty by Infiniti. So when I purchased my G, I also bought a 100K/96months extended warranty. So the the basic warranty (4yr/60K) is replaced right away by the extended warranty from day one. I kinda regret making that decision now, but I still have to change my mind and get my refund.

My question is, if I was to buy the extended warranty later when my basic warranty is close to expired what would the price for be? Have anyone did this and how much does it cost for you? Will dealership work any promotion deals for a good extended warranty plan?

Thanks in advance, guys!

I've had my 2010 since 3/2010. My 4 year warranty ran out 2 months ago.
I have had zero problems to date, so the thought never crossed my mind to get an extended warranty, which I don't believe in.
Extended warranties for cars are usually a waste of money. Even if you should have a problem it normally will cost less to fix it then the cost of the warranty.
The only way I would even consider getting an extended warranty would be if I had a BMW. The reason I said that was because I've owned a BMW.

Hahaha... some of those cars were definitely made on a Monday. My 02 330 was bulletproof, but the 08 335xi was a bottomless money pit with something else failing as soon as whatever failed before was repaired.
