DRL LED aftermarket install <$15

Hey whats up, I decided I would go for a custom look for DRLs. I went with 4 eagle eye 3W units, and they came from Ebay at $15. I also installed these directly to ACC surce (hot in run), so they come on automatically with the car. Anyways, here ya go!

Ran a single wire through this driver side grommet, down to the interior fuse block and tapped into an acc source.

The entire install was spent laying on cardboard, wiring everything up. I grounded all wires to existing ground spots. A couple zip ties and its clean.

I like this setup because I can add an additional eagle eye 3W light if I wanted 3 bulbs.

Kudos for the clean install. Looks nice.

My .02 cents...it may be the pic or the lighting, etc.....but they look a little dim? Maybe adding a 3rd would not be a bad idea...

Nice, clean & understated, good job!
Might want to add another two on each side going up the curve, just to flow with the under-grill a bit. Either way, it's a win IMO.

Ah damn. I put the wrong symbol. Should be <$50. Hey mods, can you edit my thread title to say less than $50??? I spent $15 on a set of 4 lights, and a few bucks on some wire and connectors.

I may add additional ones not sure yet. They are pretty bright though, the second pic is with them off. Will update later with a night pic.

Will look into this, thus being no fog light rewire with running lights...

Quick search from my work computer keeps bringing up foreign lisitngs but you get the idea, heres a Lot of 10... same product though. Try to find the ones from a U.S. company, they shipped really fast.

I'm surprised a company hasn't replicated OEM DRL fog grille inserts like one did for the illuminated sills.

Sure seems like an easy job to do.

I can vouched for these. I used them before on my other car, they're pretty even with direct sunlight and very bright at night. I use a combo of 3 LED each side, but 4 each side would look even better.
