I feel your pain Mark, I'm from Bensalem right outside of NE Philly and I cannot stand people around here, they literally $uck. They have no respect for other peoples things because they don't even have respect for themselves or their own things.

Sorry that happened to you.
First mistake was going to South Shore Plaza! :roll eyes:

Hate to be judgmental, but South Shore drivers "suck" and the ones at the mall are the worst.
I've been a shopper at the mall for over 15 years and have experienced some "vandalism" myself...security is a joke!

It really depends where you park...

As others have said...most of that is surface scratches and can be buffed out.

I second this, all day long. I never park close to anyone, and yet some jerk still parks right next to me when I'm like 50 spaces away.

Yeah, I feel for you. I hope you get your G back to where you want it...and yes, I practice what others have mentioned, park with caution. If you feel there could be an issue with the parking spot you've chosen, park elsewhere. That's the best way to minimize damage.

Very rarely do I park where it's convenient for me. I guess it's the price we pay in order to keep our G's scratch free. Or at least as scratch free as possible.

GL with the repairs.

People are morons. I had my brand new G that was barely 2 weeks old with less than 500 miles on it at the tint shop. The tint guy left the rear door open as he pulled into the garage and dented it. He compensated me for the damage though. Stupid, careless people is why we can't have nice things...

Those look like fairly shallow surface scratches. They should buff out. I wouldn't bother with touch up, as even a careful application may be more noticeable than any residual scratches after buffing and rewaxing.

Welcome to the forum!

I am concerned about your tires as other members were pointing out. That cracking is not a good sign, might be time to replace them

I always park way out too and also live in MA but on the North shore. The day after picking up my G37 from the dealer who was fixing scratch's that happened AT the dealer, while at dinner with my wife at a place where I could not park far out some kind person gave the drivers side fender a key swipe. For no reason, he wasn't blocked it or even cramped and of course gone when I came back out to my car. What a PITA it has been to attempt to get it repaired.
I owned my now traded 01 Grand Prix GTP 13 years and the only dent or scratch was from other people and mostly after I moved up here in 05, people suck!!!

Scratch and dent guys are amazing at what they can do with small dents, even larger ones,
. That is only one of many youtube videos on dent repair.
Detail guys are equally amazing at how they can take scratch's and make them disappear using detailing techniques.

Best of luck

Paintless Dent Repair

Have a specialized dent shop massage that from the inside (PDR) they don't have to take the panel off or anything in certain areas like door panels they will just stick their tools down the window and massage from the inside / out... that's what they did for my baby. as far as the minor scratches I would try a 3m eraser wheel to get off as much as you can that is not your paint etc and then use some touch up paint from Infinity!! Otherwise its going to cost you big bucks brother. Hear me out.
