Stillen SC will cost like $8k + installation? And you may need support mod as well.

Maybe trading in for a Evo or STi is a better way to go?

total will be right arounf $9600 for everything, If you upgrade the stuff I did your looking at $12-$12,500 including tune. Depends on what "you" want. I didn't go for EVO or STI
because I think those are "kids" cars..( I had 2 EVO's) Just being older and going to have a family I wanted something different.

I really don't need the extra power for the twisties as it has enough. Problem is in the turns where I have been used to a lower car with stiffer suspension and larger rims the x just seems on the edge of flipping. That's really where I want to tighten her up.
With that being said, I am trying to see if anyone has:
1. Switched components from an x to an xS- possibly cheaper? Is this even worth to do?
2. Merely upgraded sways/added struts/rims(18 or 19) ect from the xS with better difference
3. With expectation that I am preparing for a SC kit prob to the 410hp, with the current tires/suspension I think with the TC off I'd be all over the place as it will revert 25/75 diff. At least in snow it does!
Sorry, been a hectic couple days. I went with Hotchkis bars and noted a significant difference. Tightened up nicely, I have a Cusco bar I haven't installed yet as well. Right now I am running G35 sport sedan 18s but had to run spacers to fit the BBK. I have two sets of rays forged coupe rims that I'll be using once I get tires. I bought two sets so now I have two squared sets, I'll either run a set and sell a set or run both as a winter / summer mix, can't decide yet.

Suspension wise I would love to go with Konis and swifts but so far that doesn't appear possible with the X. I'm told there are now three choices for coilovers for the x but I need to confirm, I know I don't want to bag it. I may just add swift springs and camber kits but I'm still on the fence.

I've added the BBK and paddles, with the sways I think I'm running better than a stock xS but not as well as the RWD s. Twisties are a lot more fun now. A couple more tweaks and I think I'll have her about as good as I'm going to get her.

Figure sways, new, at around $340. BBK.... Hard to say, I got my original set installed at well, let's just say it was a very good price. Just bought a second set of calipers with lines and pads etc for $850, hoping to sell them once I get everything swapped out and around. But you'd still need rotors which will vary depending on what you want to send. Paddles... I think $150 or so?

I dunno if any of that helps?

Does help. The G35 sport 18s are actually what I want! So if you are looking to get rid of them and use your other set I would consider buying them. I was going to try and find them from a salvage or trader for price.

As for the WRX/EVO comment, I was actually about to buy a WRX and stage II it when I found the g37x. My wife did not like the "tweaner car". However, I have always done all my own work, fully stripped two motorcycles to the frame and multiple mods on variety of cars and one truck. I went with the sport look/luxury feel but I'm a racer at heart. So since I sold my bike I'm looking to get the most out of what I have. After next year money won't be an issue, neither will tools. Dropping a SC would be a way for me to have new excitement without going and dropping 60k on a used GTR. I figure whats 10k vs that.

I'm dragging my feet a little right now because I want to run a set of PSS and it's too cold right now. Let me know how soon you're looking to make the change and maybe we can work something out. If you do want them I'll toss the spacers in too in case you do go BBK in the future or simply want to run flush.

Probably after the snow is finished. Don't have the extra garage space to work until after winter is over. Doesn't mean I can't have things ready to go though!
