dumbest question to hit myg37.com

Apologies in advance for my stupidity.

I searched this forum, and eventually figured out I'm not going to be able to upgrade the front chin spoiler on my 2013 G37 Sedan with the gorgeous oem SPORT front chin spoiler...because the non-sport sedan is not compatible sport spoiler.

Therefore, I'm now trying to figure out what my options are.... More specifically, I'm wondering what the upgraded oem non-sport front chin spoiler looks like.

My stupid question:

Is there such thing as an upgraded oem non-sport front chin spoiler for the 2013 G37 sedan?

This is what mine came with:

AFAIK, there's no aftermarket splitter available for the 2013 sport bumper. If you want to change that look, you need to swap bumpers. I have a 2012 and ran into the same problem.

There is a front chin spoiler for a non-sport model. Check with your local dealer or search the Infiniti stores online for one.

Hey, don't apologize - the only stupid question is the one not asked.

Thanks Limited--especially for the pic!

Hmmm.... I'm not sure I see much of a difference, though. I'll try to snap another pic later at a similar angle as the one you shared. You're sure they're different though, right?

They are absolutely different. I think the non-sport front chin is very stylish.

Heh, thanks man. I'd agree with you...if I did a better job researching! Look what I just found:

So, here's my attempt to display "stock" vs "upgraded":

That looks really nice. Maybe my next mod if I can find it in CF from somewhere.

You could always have it hydro-dipped in CF.
BTW OP, there's been a zillion dumber questions asked around here, probably a couple dozen just today

Mmmk, here's my attempt to compare "stock" vs "upgraded" from a similar vantage point:

They're definitely different, but they seem so similar that I guess I'm surprised people are paying ~$400 for the upgrade.

Maybe I just need to see it in person?

I was wondering too if there is a plug and play addon chin to my non sport bumper on the 2012 coupe. ..but if that is all there is...its not enough. IPL or Aero bumper will have to be bought.

I agree with you there Hefty, I like it, but 400 is steep for a lip that seems to only slightly change the look. I've had my eye on this mod, hoping to find a good deal. Someone did post on here with another lip they purchased off ebay that was more affordable and it looked well done, just not my taste.

Am I the only one who looks at these pictures and only sees a smiley face? Once you see it, you can never un-see it. You're welcome.
