+1 for the OEM midnight grille. it seems to be the cleanest and most subtle of the bunch, and being OEM the fitment is perfect. got mine for new from Pepe Infiniti (their online wholesale site though) for $217 late last year. very happy with the results.

Damn, 217 seems like a great deal. My dealer is selling it for 435ish. I just don't want to pay so much.

A decent body shop can take your stock grille and paint it gloss black for a very good simulacrum of the midnight grille. I priced it out before buying my current CF grille, and they wanted ~120 bucks for painting the grille gloss black and color matching the emblem and fog trim rings.

I've been looking around, there just aren't very many body shops around me that I trust. I wish Infiniti would paint it for me haha.
i thought about painting my stock grille gloss black to match the midnight grille, but then i decided just to go for the accessory grille and keep my original looking stock in case i want to eventually swap before selling the car. i could then recover most of the cost of the midnight grille to fund mods to the new car! that's how i sold it to the wife, anyways...as if she needs to know.
