Absolutely. I'm not anti-AWD, just anti-AWD marketing to people in climates that are better served by 2WD and snow tires. But we all have our own automotive values, and there are no wrong decisions as long as they are educated ones.

I think it might take a bit more than that to make CA a paradise. I was there when the Rodney King trial went down. Los Angeles was wonderful - shootings, looting, arson, beatings, etc. Prior to that it was more the typical gang ritual killings, adultery on steroids, drug-fried surfer dudes, and all sorts of plastic debauchery. My group was there for two years, all ages, education levels, family commitments, and backgrounds. Nobody wanted more. The weather was nice though.

thats why i moved from so cal to nor cal, and the smog / traffic is horrible

Don't forget the Mid-West...Windy city reporting in love the AWD G. RWD most of the time and AWD just when you need it in the winter

Yep. I stopped looking...there is never anything good for sale in TX. Its always socal.
