New - Custom Mesh Step Lips [PICS]

Wanted to share my new mod with the G-Family.

The car has 19,000 on it and the stock tires were done for, so I was looking for a different look that would not break the bank. I know these are not the top of the line, but from my research, the wheels are a good quality one-piece. Or... at least for the price, they are pretty good. Note: I am working and going to school, so this is "ballin on a budget"... no work VSXX yet...

These only come in black, flat black, or gun metal, so I got them custom painted by a local shop.

20 x 8.5 Fronts w/ 235's Offsets, unknown
20 x 10.5 Rears w/ 285's Offsets, unknown

I know it NEEDS A DROP! but I need to save up for some coils.

Not bad for "ballin on a budget!" Can I ask how much you paid for them?

I'm sure the ARK exhaust set you back a little too lol.

Thanks man. I will break out the invoice tomorrow and give the details, but I basically paid 1700 for rims, tires, paint, TPMS change, hub-centric rings, and mount & balance. I really don't know, but I felt this was a good deal, or at least fair. The ARK was not exactly cheap, but it was well worth it. That exhaust kicks ***!

^ Good eye! That's the look I wanted. The shop offered me the chickara (SP?) LM replicas, but I just used my phone and pulled up the pics of them with broken spokes on trashed cars and said, "thanks but no thanks." haha. These at least are a decent quality, or at least that's what I hear.

Next is KW coils and spacers if needed.

^ Good motivation to put in as many overtime hours this weeks as possible then!

I am just nervous about going lower. The ARK hangs low and scrapes every once and a while and going freeway bumps at speed I have already rubbed in the rear a few times.

Not a fan of those style mesh wheels in our G's but if that's what you like.
It will look gazillion times better with the coils.

Nope, those are Chikara wheels.

NOPE, they are NOT Chikara LM Replicas!

These are XXR 521's that have been painted as they only come with black centers. They do not offer a lighter color.

I have seen the Chikara pics - we all have - I was definitely not gonna rock those!!!
