Are you going to powdercoat those calipers? Heck of an opportunity.

I'm either going to do a stock color (which will be a close match to Graphite Shadow) or taking it back to my Acura days when I had Spoon calipers on my TSX. Like below

Good score, I'm curious to see what kind of feedback there is. I got a great deal on a second set and sent them out for paint, waiting for them to come back now.

On a budget the brakeperformance.com drilled/slotted w/ Stoptech pads is a decent option, they look good and the Stoptechs have nice bite. Here's Soolmans brakeperformance rotors on his Akebono setup. I only have the Journey brakes but have been happy w/ that combo.

I believe the rotors are larger on the sports to accommodate the larger brakes.

Hi guys,

Sorry to be off topic here. Has anyone upgraded the sound system/speakers on their G37 and had to run new speakers wires from the doors to the inside interior through the molex connector ?
I'm having trouble with the driver's side, there's just not enough space for me to move my hand around and get to the inside harness and pull it out to drill a new hole. Do you have any tips ?

Thanks

I haven't worked with the problem you're having, but I've had to squeeze wires through right spaces. Try a long screwdriver or dowel. Push it through the connector, tape the wire to the end and pull it back.

There's also not really a topic to be off of, so no worries. Post a pic, maybe enlist the help of a female friend if your hands are too manly and strong.

OMG, no. The front sport rotors are 14" in diameter. The rears are 13.8" and vented.

The non-sport rotors are 12.5" in the front, and 12" in the rear. IDK of the non-sport rears are vented... they weren't on my old Nissan.

There's also the RacingBrake ET500 pads... I've read great things about those. And the HAWK HPS composite pads, which I've always been partial to.

You've also painted and labeled those OEM brakes in a very tasteful way. How's that holding up?

Anthony, the rotors are quite a bit bigger, especially in front. They go from 320mm for the sedan and 330mm for coupe w/ non-S brakes, up to a whopping 355mm on the Akebono equipped setup in front. The rears go from 307/330 to 350mm.

I saw a deal on a used set of rotors for very cheap. If they had fit, I would have taken the chance. Oh well! Guess that means I have to get sway bars now!
