Sweet. Two rights make a right! Unfortunately, we just exemplified why so many people dislike engineers.

Yes, I run full lumbar in my sport seats, but in my truck (Ram 2500 Limited) I don't need much and my Recaro's are perfectly comfortable without any lumbar adjustment whatsoever. I'm with you on the chiropractor visits.. Not only do I have partially herniated discs in my lower back... L3, L4, and L5, but I also have to make regular visits to a Neurologist due to severe spinal stenosis between my C5, C6, and C7 in my neck (thanks to Mom - genetic). I'm just all messed up!

BTW, it irritates me to no end when states don't have 93. What is that 91 crap, anyway? My vehicle no likey.

Yes, I am in full agreement with you here and so is my car. My car made 459 RWHP with 93 octane, but makes about 30 less than that when running 91 octane! It amazes me that most of the country gets 93 octane, yet some of us are still stuck with 91 octane. In Europe they have 99 RON, which would be equivalent to about 95 octane here in the states.

Whoa what happened? I thought we were just chiming in that being non Californian leads to lower pump prices not comparing pump prices in general? Guess I fudged that one! I'll take a pic of 93 next time, but the G only takes E85 now and I just snapped the pic after filling this morning otw to work.

No problem, Tony. We're all just jealous of you (and your car) being able to run off cheap corn juice.

So my car at home spends its time in the garage and when ever it is out and about I always use a shade on the wind shield. The other day I was driving and and ran my over the dash. It was starting to feel a tiny bit sticky and it looked a bit shiny. I always wipe the dash down with a damp cloth to remove dust. Anything I can do to try and prevent the dash from going south?

Yep. 303 Aerospace Protectant for the dash. And LLumar Air Blue 80 on the windshield. It's a ceramic film with 43% heat rejection and 80% UV rejection. It's crystal clear.

I've been very happy with both. Neither is inexpensive, however.

Yeah, what's up with that? 93 is all but disappearing in WI. It used to be at every station and now it is only at 2 of the 3 shell stations in town and no other station. Everything is switching to 91?!?

Yikes, that doesn't sound fun at all!

Incidentally, your headlight treatment looks great. Got any close-up pics of them?
I forgot to answer this, here is a couple of angles. I left some chrome to match the front grille and fog trim. I'm thinking of spraying the whole grille gloss black, and the fog light trims once my window trim vinyl goes on.

Oh hey, that's a nice floor jack. I like how low the lift-end is.

How much is something like that?

I paid $85 today for it, one of my jacks broke. This one is great, low pro and the rapid pump is legit.

Yep. It's what I use. I still have to roll up on 2x6s to get it under the central jack point for the front though. The the AWD stuff hangs low. The RWD people probably don't have that problem.

Anand I didn't even to bother to try it that way. The rear pumpkin jack point you can for sure reach with this jack. Those are pics with the spacers installed, no rub at full lock on bumps. I think 25 mm would give you issues.

Crap! 2x6's! I should have thought of that! How long of a piece do you use? My garage floor is pretty smooth and I am sure I would just push the pieces. Do you bevel an end or something to prevent that from happening to you?
