Bronze? That looks more gold to me, and yes that would look fantastic

On the other hand I finally picked up my new custom steering wheel yesterday

Here's what has been done to it

Added top and bottom thumb grips
Reshaped sides
Flat bottom
Thickened 1/8" padding
Soft smooth flat Italian leather top & bottom
Soft perforated leather on the sides
Red stitching

MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!!

Those wheels would really stand out Vivid. Their very stylish. I think a little darker would look really good. JMO....

Oh and I made the groove bigger so the wire would have something to bite into. I then sewed the leather from the outside, around the wire with kevlar string.

Oh, and I beveled the sharp corners of the piece thats inside, and greased the chamber where the spring is. Its super smooth.

Heres a quick diagram of what I did.
Wow! Hexotic's got some skilz!!!

Eek! I'm not so sure about that color bronze on Vibrant red. Sure looks good on white though! That said, if you're getting a good deal on the wheels and it's not too much trouble then I say why not give it a shot and see how it looks?

Yes! This is one of my favorite wheel finishes I've seen. Looks even better in person do to the way the color changes when you looks at it from different angles. Thinking this would be a much better color choice for a red car

That steering wheel is a show piece!!! That'll do the job quite nicely. Congrats.

Did you do that yourself? Please don't tell me the bar has been raised to DIY sport wheels

Wifey got me a 370Z shift **** for Christmas. It's the same height, but the circumference is greater.

Since it has the shift pattern pressed into the leather, the gate pattern on the shift surround becomes redundant, so I'm going to vinyl wrap it, unless someone has an idea on how I could remove the shift pattern in some other way.
