Hmm. That never bothered me. But I'll tell you one of my car wash pet peeves. It's chamoise drying the car, then opening the trunk and having water run all over the rear window. Happens every single time, LOL.

Pretty petty consideration seeing as how the car is currently covered in all things Winter, but still.

I absolutely hate it after I wash the car and a little water leaks onto the rims / bhind the rims. After it dries whats left is a nice little streak of break dust.

Black Betty*02:02 PM 08-15-2012Plain and simply, the Kinetix HFC are absolute garbage. That is your problem. Many HFC will add some rasp if they are not resonated, that's the nature of them. But Kinetix is the worst possible.I don't have them. In fact I took off my HFC altogether (I had Berk) and am very happy with the result. But I have heard the FI resonated ones on friends G's and they are much better sounding.

No Car parts here for Christmas! My Work wheels are my Christmas present to me
Plenty in the archives. Quoted above - directly - is bb, who is a mod here, as you know. If you're happy with them, that's all that counts. Many people aren't.

So one quote and because it's BB it makes it valid. You didn't PM me the links to the dozen or so people that have taken them off because they suck. I can easily say that your fake wheels are dangerous to drive on and I'm sure BB would agree but hey if you're happy with them then that's on you.

The RHFCs aren't at the top of my wish list (sorry Rochester )
But this is~

I like the fact that it's a solid piece and appears to be very well constructed, it's also a bit more unique (at least I haven't seen many pics of them around here) Soundmike gave it a nice review (on this 4 pg thread)
Circuit Sport (Alutec) Strut Bar - G35Driver

I'm just real happy w/ the sound of my exhaust as is, and performance-wise the extra few hp isn't real important to me at this time.

There's a guy in Houston, he's on here as IzzyPR, I think he's selling one of those.

That strut bar looks nice Brad. I don't like how my cusco has gotten all scraped up on the top from the heat shield on the bottom side of the hood.

I think Rochester had the same problem but removed the shield prior to any abrasions. Or he polished them out for his photos

I'd love to remove it but I was thinking about doing that but I was told that it was there to protect the paint job on the hood?
If I do remove it I'd have to get my strut bar re polished.

Its kind of promising, but I'm not going to get my hopes up though,
i did with the Q50 and was disappointed. We'll see though. I don't plan on making anymore purchases in the near future.

Funny because I sort of have been looking into this alutec strut bar as well recently and I certainly IMHO agree with soundmike in the given thread ( thanks Brad) that one solid piece seems better 'more rigid/solid' than any other competing brands with the middle part bolted up to the mounts or whatever you wanna call them... one of my next mods as well Brad !

F1Q50....... Please let this redeem infiniti for the Q50 design, I'm not a fan of it's design at all. I really was hoping for something a little more "sportier" looking. It was as if they took a step back instead of forward.
