I'll take all recommendations into account. I don't know much about car tires. This is the first car I've owned. I've been in trucks my entire driving life.

PSS are an amazing tire. Light weight, good tread life, and simply heroic grip. They are, however, extremely expensive. My rears are $320/ea.

Ouch.... Thankfully I have some time to save up for them. I've still got 60-70% tread.

Drove Kevin's sedan today, and I gotta say, I'm sold on the FI CBE paired up with FI RHFCs and the TK Hebi Bebi shift ****, I simply fell in love with that exhaust with 18" resonators and the Uprev tune to the point that I want to get FI CBE in the future, oh and the clutch felt great with the stock spring, gotta say a lot better than mine with soft spring, therefore I am going to replace it back to stock! Thanks Kevin (Choman) for the opportunity tp drive your car and the help today along with Ahmed (doublea88)

If you want a cheaper alternative check into Yokohama S.Drive. That's what I have on my G and my brother has on his TT. They have some pretty aggressive tread on them.

How did the sound output compare to your setup?

Oh definitely louder, but still not obnoxious loud, more growl and deep tone, honestly I thought I love my set up, or I guess I did until I got sold on his set up with the Uprev tune

Go with the 12 inch resonated Mike. Just a little deeper and louder. Honestly, can't go wrong with FI in any case IMO.

Thats pretty surprising. But you got to do what feels right for you with your car. For myself, no way would I put the OEM clutch pedal assist spring back on the car. No way.

And yeah, Kevin's car is set up nicely. Very respectable, and yet very stealth.

Well I think 18" resonators were already fine and ear-pleasing, definitely more noticeable on revs, and downshifts and all that, while 12" may get too loud or annoying while cruising? I don't know how much difference there is all I know is that I loved his exhaust's deep growl and how it opens up along with that Uprev tune haha

Car and Driver Test of summer tires:

The PSS always seems to come out on top in tires tests, and I don't think I've seen a bad review yet of them. Bridgestone's Potenza S04 seems to be the consistent runner up to the PSS.

I'm running S04s and I'm really happy with them. I chose them over the PSS because the price difference at the time was enough to fund sway bars. After 9,000 miles, the fronts are 6/32 and the rears are down to 5/32. I'll probably replace them with PSS come August or September and see if the PSS live up to the hype.

It definitely gets loud. There are times, even with my "auto tragic" heads turn when it downshifts. When cruising though yes, I think it's probably more noticeable. Can't comment about the tune yet, I still haven't gone that route.

I'm running the Hankook Ventus V12, seemed a viable alternative to me. At the same time, if I didn't need to run a winter and summer setup I probably would have gone PSS

Great. I was thinking of doing FI LTH and FI CBE with 18" resonators. Hoping it wont be too loud!
