Thanks Brad, much appreciated.
No misfortune per se, just a rough couple days. Spent the last two days interviewing the dregs of society and am trying to shake it off.

John - It definitely qualifies! I'll be touching base with the shop tomorrow to see when I can get some wrench time scheduled.

Hopefully you can put it past you w/out much trouble, look forward to your review of the Fast Intentions setup, it's gonna be killer

Certainly before end-of-April, assuming you're driving East for the meet-up.

My Fast Intention cats go on the car in little over a week. And it's all I can do not to put the wheels on the car, but 30*F is still pushing my luck, even though it feels like a heatwave.

You know what has me worried? It's Pothole Armageddon out there right now. It would kill me to crack one of these new rims just because I'm impatient to put them on the car.

Very great news on the RHFCs!!! I bet you're beyond excited to get those bad boys on there.

Do you have work crews filling potholes in your area? It seems like I see VDOT out there filling potholes all the time and they're all ripped up when the next time plows come around to clear whatever snowfall we get. I swear people look at me like I'm driving drunk at 2:00pm in the afternoon.

Well, yes and no. Yes, because, well, duh! But no, because my expectations are tempered to be somewhat minor. I hope to feel a small change in pull at WOT, but realize that the real changes won't come until I'm done with power mods and the car gets tuned. As for sound, I'm expecting to hear the exhaust more, but because they're resonated those changes should be minor... until I get a catback on the car.

So I wouldn't use the phrase "beyond excited". And I certainly wouldn't call them "bad boys". At least, not out loud to anyone.

No, not that I've noticed. Kind of frustrating seeing these holes get bigger and bigger, and people (including me) swerving all over the road to avoid them.

(sigh)

It almost hit a blistering 40*F yesterday, so I washed my car. And since the car is Moonlight White, all the little black tar specs and orange dots of oxidized brake dust... they really stand out. (To me, at least.)

It's all I can do to keep from claybar and wax, except that I don't have an attached or heated garage, so that's just not realistic.

Fcking Winter.

Right now it looks like I can get them installed next week. That's definitely the goal. They should be here on the 12th so I'm thinking the evening of the 12th will be good probably the 13th or if need be over the weekend. Definitely want to get them on before April. If I'm lucky then my calipers and engine bay pieces will be back by then too, we'll see.

I can see the potential issue with putting the rims on, Buffalo was pretty bad. I imagine Rochester is about the same and I'm sure that PA probably is too. Every so I look at the Rays I have laying around and feel like I need to get them shod and installed. But with the tenants moving out and having to get repairs done that's gong to have to wait a bit longer.

Nice! I thought we wee tracking awfully close there. I'm hoping to get these last bits done and put things on pause here soon. Well... Except for the interior / headliner project which I need to get moving on.
