Well, yes and no. It just started as a meet-up for people who already interact with one another here in the Sedan Forum. Not that I'm opposed to casting a wider net... but it's not about me, it was Choman's idea. In fact, if this becomes a New Jersey thing, I may not actually go to an event that's 6-8 hours away.

Honestly, if something materializes, I'd be surprised. Coordinating schedules for strangers hours away from one another is not an easy thing. Let's see what happens here before moving into the Regional Forum.

As for you being jealous, we'd have to issue you special consideration because of your 6MT-lessness. The request would go to committee, there'd be a vote, and in the end you'd be required to wear a PRND badge of shame. You'd also be required to pick up the tab at dinner, so...

Oh come on Northern VA tells me that you are about 4 hours away from me then another 4 hours to Ithaca, NY... nah infact in this case I don't know if I'd be willing to drive 4 hours to Ithaca just to meet up and then drive back home

I'm not sure if I can do a 24 hour round trip to Albany but like I said before, it just depends on the dates.

I haven't been to Kentucky since I was a child, so I can't say how far they've progressed in the last 45 years. However, here in New York we have these wonderful facilities called "Hotels", where you can sleep overnight. It's pretty cool.

Of course, I can say this only because the majority of guys in the list are already Northeast of your location. But it was still fun.

 

Can you elaborate on this thing you call a "hotel"?

Haha. It just depends on pricing and if I can take a couple of days off from work.

Depending on the final date and location I may be in as well. NJ or NY are both potentially viable for me.
