Canbus LED

Does anyone know if replacing the back-up lights to led will give an error code? I read online that either a resistor or error free canbus LED will work. Is that true?

I've never heard of Canbus LEDs before so I can't speak for them but I have had Diode Dynamics reverse LED's in my last 2 G's and have never had any issues with them. They do not send off any error codes either. They were running a 20% off black Friday sale, and may still honor it if you ask them about it, but here is the link to them if you want to check them out.

Also just some food for thought try to be careful when buying a LED that is encased in black housing because it may be more visible when not in use since the housing for the bulb is a lighter color with a clear lense.

I swapped mine out to a unit with a canbus bulb until diode dynamics has the stage 3 unites back in stock. Haven't had any issues with them.

If the BF sale is over LMK, I have a discount code you can use.

No need for error free led's on the g. I literally changed every single light bulb with normal led's that would give errors in German cars. Your good, dont worry!
