You know, I've not priced TP's, but compared to HFC's, that's a heck of a good price. Catalyst material must be pretty expensive. I wonder if a corner shop would look at that resonator and think those were cats? At only $160, I think I would have taken a shot with these and see if I could get by here in NY. Inspections are serious, but they're also just visual.
My resonators didn't fool an exhaust shop here in Austin. They actually refused to work on my car because the absence of my cats.

We don't have inspections here in SC anymore. They stopped doing them about 20 years ago....
