I will probably get beat up for this since the tint police is close, but here is my car. 5% on doors and rear, 35% windshield.

Edit: Sorry for duplicate pics, uploaded from phone

Crystalline is the only way to go. It can be pricey depending on where you go but it's totally worth it, especially when you are in an area and summers are brutal; AND when you own a black car

Found my twin in G35S form! Put this pic together and it's a good comparison of window tint.

Mine is 15% all around and 55% full windshield.
His has to be 5% all around with strip on windshield.

With mine you can still see through, the other car is just black. But also notice the subtle but effective difference of the windshield (look at the interior pillars.) Way more appealing than a tint eyebrow in my opinion, probably helps with heat better too! While driving I barely even know the windshield is tinted, I don't care what Chekov says this is my opinion on first hand experience.

How is visibility out of your windshield with that 55% at night time? Did you do 15% on your rear windshield as well?

The visibility with 55% tinted windshield at night is great, I have no complaints with it whatsoever. And yes, the rear windshield is 15%. At least 15% is what I told him to install. But sometimes I really think it's 20-25%. Seems lighter than 15%, I'll post more pics.

BAUS. Reminds me of tint in the Philippines. Windows & rear double limo (so 5% on top of 5%), and front windshield at 5%.

I have no idea how you see out the sides at night. My rear is 5%, windows are 15% and windshield is 50%, and I can already tell the difference from my windows to my windshield. Forget about the front to rear.

I just had 20% done on the sides and the back window and i have black interior. At night it can get a little harder to see on country roads with no road lights but i would say for me about 90% of the time I see out just fine.

As far as the tint laws go, I had 20% on the last 4 cars i've had - was pulled over once and got a tint ticket - went to my doctor and got a perscription for light sensitivity, prescribing window tint on on my car, and took it into court and they dismissed the ticket.
