Yeah, looks like it's going to need to come off, to give it subjective try. "How much HP do you think this will net"?

It won't net you as much HP as adding a turbo badge would.

So lets see.

Intake sounds better - check
possible lower engine bay temps - check
weight savings, haha - check

Downside would be what? You have to find a place to store it....

Mine's in the attic, with a growing pile of OEM parts.

Hood liner, springs, catalytic converters, air-intakes, wheels...

No, wait. Duckfeet are in the garage. LOL

You guys with houses are lucky.

I've ended up with car parts stored at work, at friends houses, in the trunk, left at the shop etc..

Add to that the fact that I move a lot, so I always keep that in mind when considering new wheels and tires- or something else that would leave me with something huge to store.

Well, Dorthy, it's not like it just dropped out of the sky one day. You work hard, and make good choices.

There are negatives, too, you know. Repairs, taxes, the lawn... As I type this, there's a plumber in the kitchen putting in a new disposal, and then he goes to work on the shower. Plumber fees... ouch!

Am I the only one who found that suggestively hilarious? Head's always in the gutter, man.
