LTH on Sedan

First of all, has anyone gone down the LTH route for a sedan? I am looking to buy a full FI exhaust setup. FI are in the unknown if it would fit the sedan. The infiniti part #'s for stock manifolds and cat conv is the same in the coupe and sedan.

Does anyone have any insight into why it won't fit?

The coupe HFC's are 2.50" ID, and Sedan HFC's are 2.25" ID. I can only assume this is because the sedan exhaust from FI is also 2.25", while the coupes is 2.5". I'm guessing that the LTH's are also 2.5", meaning you'd be taking an ID reduction from headers to catback.

FI makes a 2.5" at the cat and catback for an extra $100.

+1 on this. I've got a full 2.5" RHFC and non-resonated CBE setup on order for my sedan. Hopefully it'll be here soon. I've been chomping at the bit to get this thing installed. It should sound pretty nice. It's going to be loud but I don't mind that.

Looking forward to hearing a sound clip of that. Not to thread drift but I was looking at their TT set up today...very tempting

are you sure? i know you can use sedan and coupe cats interchangably, even 370z cats, and Y pipes for that matter. that doesnt mean they are the same diameter, but i was pretty sure they were all 2.5" for aftermarket

I think it's the route FI chose to take on the sedans since they assumed majority aren't interested in max performance.

I don't see the point of replacing any exhaust component with anything aftermarket that is 2.25"

If you're only going to replace part of an exhaust system, you don't want to be staggering internal diameter's too much. Every time you change up the ID of a fluid pathway, you change the velocity and create turbulence.
