Confused: When was Nav required for sport package?

I'm looking into a used G37 sedan and I was curious if the Nav package was always required for the Sport package (auto, not 6mt). I'm assuming all 2010's had backup cameras as long as you had the Premium package as well?

Information seems to be scattered and the current website shows it's required.

why not. Thats pretty typical of manufactures making certain packages only available with others. i.e. you cant get a base with navi. etc.

I noticed this recently as well. Essentially when you pick the sport option, Nav and Premium are also selected. I'm not sure when this changed. I have seen non-nav 2010 Sports, so maybe 2011?

Mine too!

When shopping last year there were only two 6 sp manual G37S vehicles within 300 miles of central New Jersey. Both were fully loaded with Nav

This. I originally wanted a 2010 6mt without Nav but they were all sold. I ordered the 2011 and was unable to delete the Nav.
