Car automagically debadging?

So, noticed today that all of my I's are missing from my trunk. They were there 2 days ago.

Did they fall off or were they stolen?

There is no marking around the paint. And I noticed that some of the other letters are pretty loose (they wiggle easily by hand). Additionally, they had been removed/reapplied when the trunk was repainted for the rust.

I'm going to say that when your trunk letters "had been removed/reapplied when the trunk was repainted" the adhesive was weakened and they are now loose and falling off. The "I"s were just the first to go.
Solution: Debadge or buy a new set of trunk letters and apply them properly

spoke to the dealer, they are taking care of it. no problems.

the woman saw it when she was driving behind me today. at first i was all *&@#*&@*#^!@ and then I was like maybe i'll debadge it and then I was like maybe it'll get fixed for free.

taking the free route for now. maybe i'll debadge at a later date (like when they fall off again )

Personally, I would just let the lettering come off, and only leave the Mt. Fuji, and the G37(S? Sorry didn't read which you drive) on. And then plastidip, and plastidip-clear them.
