This doesn't even sound plausible. Ask yourself, why hasn't anyone seen this information anywhere besides from the mouths if salesmen? Have any of the Infiniti salesmen who are regular forum contributors been given this information from any official channel through Infiniti?

I guess I can back up his statements as it seems employees have this inside knowledge. I have been shopping for the past month and one finance manager and one Salesperson from two different dealers have said the same unprompted to me.

Something along those lines is what I was told.
Thanks for chiming in with that info. Hard to believe but as you're a regular contributing member of the forum and work at a dealership I believe you. I can't really understand why though.

Guess it makes a little sense if the G will be marketed for fleet use, couldn't imagine many people would buy a G with the Q50 in the showroom, unless heavily incentivized, in which case why would Nissan bother keeping them on lots?

Would mind saying I had the laast year G :/ but no big deal, last year of 6MT sedan

OEM do it all the time but usally the cars never hit lots for public sale. They are for the most part sold to Enterprise, Herts, Avis ect but the cars get sold through the Dealers because US law states an OEM can't sell a car directly to anyone in the US. They have to go through a dealer, hence how info trickles down and you get says reps saying " We will have 2014 G37" or "We will still have 2014 Impalas (my Chevy days )"

Telsa is in hot water right now with the DOT because it sells cars in some sates directly, but its because they're dealer network is very small.

So this mean I'll be better to try to buy my G37 before the end of this summer or wait until next year?

Salesman that we've bought 3 Infi from told me that the g37 sedan models are trickling down to nothing on new arrivals. Corresponds to a cease/downturn in production.

As eljoker has mentioned, continued production for fleet use only is plausible. Chevy is doing the same thing with the Impala.

They are telling the dealers here that they will be able to continue getting two versions of the G sedan until at least December:

Base G37
G37x

No S, no xS. Which means no 6MT.

I heard this aswell last month when i was at the Salesman meet and greet with the new Q50. The reps from Infiniti did say that they will continue making the G even with the Q50 production. I assume there will be a 10-20$ diff between a base G and a top of the line Q50S-hybrid AWD or whatever is the TOL. I hope they show up this week, im on month to month right now and really want the Q badly.
