Wow. That looks perfect, Brad. Thanks for remembering.

IDK about the blue, now. Hmm... thinking I like the gold better for Moonlight White.

Gold would look good, silver too, but silver sunscreens are too common. Maybe rose

John,
Go with gold...will go well with the amber lights!
Plus your engine cover, except that won't be seen

This is what I have. The one that folds into a circle to put away. It's very compact size and quick. It fits perfectly into the back seat of passenger storage area. I don't like having stuff sit around in my car so this works best.

Yep, I want the gold shade. Also, I have the Stone Leather interior, which really is far more beige than stone. Really, I don't know why Infiniti calls it "stone". I would think "cream" would be more accurate, although that's kind of icky.

The truth of my situation is that I really haven't needed a shade since buying the car. I work at home, and average less than 7000 miles a year. Although later this summer, I'll be splitting my time between home and office... and that's outdoor parking. (sad)

So I'm going to order this before then, and post pics like Newt here did... just because that's what I do.

Outdoor parking sucks. This is the first company I've been with where they don't have covered parking. Most of the employees actually park offsite and take a shuttle to the building. At least I have onsite parking. We're going to have near record high temperatures in the west and southwest this weekend. I hear parts of NM is going to be 120. Death Valley (name suites it) in CA is going to be 130. Is that even safe?

I've always just used the collapsible ring ones from Costco as well.

Anyway, Covercraft looks like a quality product for the same price ($50-ish): UVS100 Heat Shields - UV Protection for the Interior

They seem sturdy, one side reflective and one side felt. And they come in 5 different colors. The Blue Metallic looks pretty nice.

Here's a video, to get a sense of what they're like. (Not that a sunshade needs a how-to video, but whatever.)

Cool
I was thinking I could slide mine in the passthru w/ a little velcro in the corner to keep it from going all the way into the trunk, that way I could keep it out of the cabin but have easy access to it inside the car. I'll have to go out and see if it's even possible. It would be nice to have a better place to put it

That's clever thinking. Did you do that? How'd it work out?

It seems Covercraft sunshades are all cut-to-order. AutoBarn.com does a drop-ship with Covercraft, and it finally ships today... 16 days after ordering.

I should have it by the weekend.

[edit] got it. Very nice.
