Tint does have a nice curb appeal. and yes DO IT! $200 is not bad.
I live in CA so I cant have the same shade of tint all the way around. So I went 50% front and 5% in the back. Though I think I should lighten up the front so that I will get less hassled.

Given that you have an x you probably don't live somewhere where it gets over 100 degrees pretty much every day for a month or two (and when not over 100, its a brisk 98) every year. I keep a towel in my car just in case I have to park where I know the sun will come in through the side window...otherwise you have to sit there with the AC vents turned on the wheel for five minutes. Tinted windows don't get rid of it completely, but they do help. I have 35% ceramic all the way around.

You guys are so lucky with that, actually Florida is pretty relaxed on mods in general. Only state I know that has no inspection. No smog checks etc.

Quick question, with the 5% on the windshield how do you see at night/heavy downpour.?

I'm afraid to do 35% I'm in NY.
They pull you over for any window tints.
Especially be me, it's a reason for a stop by you know who.

Tints are def a reason to get pulled over in ny. However, I had 35% on my prev car and 20% on my current and never got pulled over. Don't drive like a maniac and stay away from main roads with all the drunks on the weekend.

I'm a tint snob too, living in the south it is a must have. My dealership sends it to have it done for me, usually for right around 200. I always request the darkest legal tint allowed. I think cars look better this way.

got the tints put on over the weekend and now waiting for all the bubbles to disappear. overall the car looks great and i am very happy. i opted for the 32% solargard tints that give the windows a 'smoke' look and not too dark that they look tacky.

a side question, do you guys black out the molding on the side of the windows or leave it as is? i have mixed thoughts on that... i think the car overall will look darker and meaner with the molding blacked out but not sure the best way to do it... plastidip or vinyl wrap maybe?

I'm originally from Florida so I know that feeling of driving with no tint, but DAMN 5% on the windshield! How do you see out of that at night?!

i have a good shop near me, but i was just gonna buy the 3m 1080 gloss black vinyl from ebay...it seems pretty straight forward since there are groves where i'd need to cut so its almost 0 risk to try.

South Carolina doesn't have inspections or smog checks, and seem to be pretty lax (in my experience) on things like tint.
