weird stating issue, need advice

I have an 09 G37 with 50K miles on it . Yesterday I got to my daughters school parked the car , then 30 miuntes later it wouldnt start. Barely turns over once and then nothing. Got someone to jump me and then drove it 3 miles to Advanced Auto parts. Turned it off and it cranked right up again, had them test the battery and they said it was fine.
I then drove 2 miles to Autozone and had them test it as well because I cant explain the behavior. They said it was fine as well.
So how does this happen. There is no way a 2 mile drive is enough to charge a battery that is that dead. I have started it 20 times since yesterday and it starts without as much as a hesitation.
Is this just a bad battery ?
I am still under warranty and was considering having the dealer look at it . Has this happened to anyone else ? Should I just save myself the trip and buy a new battery ?
Any advise is appretiated.

Well....if they tested the battery and they said it was fine, I feel buying a new one would be a waste.

May be your starter. When starters are getting ready to go (least in my expierence), they exhibit that kind of behavior.

My advice, take it in to the stealership and have them test it.

Same thing happened to me 2 week ago, I went to work park the car and 2 hours later I had problem starting it, tried 4 time nothing the only way the car started was when I gave it gas (witch my friend told me I wasn't suppose to do).
I took it to Infiniti and they said it may be because I didn't push the brake far enough and if it happen again to come back.

I tried to press the gas. And it couldnt be the break pedal because it would turn over for a split second. I guess I will call the crappy dealer and ask them to look at it . Was just hoping to avoid it because they are always a pain.

If you are still on the factory battery, time to replace it regardless how good it turned out from a test.
