Why is it now called the Q50? And what are your thoughts on the new name?

Why is it now called the Q50? And what are your thoughts on the new name?
Why are they calling it the "Q50" again? The G name has been so successful and single-handedly put Infiniti back on the map.. why would they risk changing that name?
I don't get it.
